1. Our agreement and its scope
These Terms of Use govern accounts and play in World of Apostles, including its browser game, website, updates and services operated by the operator identified above. “We”, “us” and “our” refer to that operator; “you” refers to the person using the account. Read these terms before registering or continuing to play. Your affirmative acceptance forms the agreement. If you do not accept, do not register or continue playing; you may still read the public legal information and contact us.
The Privacy Policy explains personal-data processing and the Cookie Policy explains device storage. Acknowledging the Privacy Policy is not consent to every processing activity. Optional analytics and marketing require their own choices. Any special conditions for a future paid service must be shown before you commit to it. Mandatory law prevails over any conflicting clause here.
2. Adults only: eligibility and age declaration
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering this agreement under the laws applicable to you to create an account or play. Our 18+ minimum is an operator eligibility rule. It is not an official PEGI, ESRB or other classification and is not a claim that every game involving hunting legally requires an adult audience. Local laws or distribution platforms may impose additional restrictions.
By creating an account or confirming the current terms, you state truthfully that you are at least 18. Parental permission does not create an exception to this service rule. Do not register for a child, lend a child your account, falsify your declaration, or help anyone bypass access controls. Our current check is a self-declaration, not independent identity or age verification. We may restrict access if we reasonably believe a declaration is false and consider proportionate further checks where legally necessary. Do not send identity documents unless we specifically request them through an appropriate secure process.
3. Content notice: hunting, violence and mature themes
The game includes simulated hunting, fishing, killing animals, gathering animal products, weapons, fighting, injury, threats, crime and pursuit by guards or robbers. Its biblical and historical story also concerns betrayal, persecution, imprisonment, execution and death. These events may be depicted, described in dialogue or narration, or referenced in quests. Content, sounds and visual intensity can change as the game develops.
Fictional actions are part of a historical role-playing setting. They do not authorize or encourage real violence, animal cruelty, unlawful hunting, discrimination or other misconduct. The game is not instruction in safe weapon use, hunting, fishing, boating, swimming, medicine or survival. Follow real-world laws and qualified guidance. Stop playing if material causes distress; age eligibility does not guarantee personal suitability.
4. Registration, security and account use
Provide a valid email address you control and accurate information required for registration. A nickname is sufficient for the account name; do not impersonate another person or organization. Confirm your email when requested. Keep your password confidential, use a unique password and protect access to your email account. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Your account is for your personal use. Do not sell, rent, transfer or share accounts or authentication tokens. You are responsible for activity you authorize and for taking reasonable precautions to secure your credentials. You are not automatically responsible for activity caused by our failure to meet our own legal obligations. We may require proportionate verification before restoring access or responding to account-sensitive requests.
5. Permission to use the game
While you comply with this agreement, we give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable permission to access the service for lawful, non-commercial entertainment through its intended interfaces. You receive access rights, not ownership of the software, world, characters, artwork, music, voices, text, databases or other materials. Rights remain with their respective owners.
Do not redistribute game files, sell assets, operate unauthorized copies or use our branding to imply endorsement. Do not circumvent technical restrictions or reverse engineer except where applicable law expressly permits it. Open-source components, public-domain texts and separately licensed materials retain their own terms; this agreement does not take away rights those licenses give you. Ordinary personal screenshots and gameplay recordings are permitted where you respect third-party rights, privacy and platform rules and do not misrepresent an official affiliation.
6. Fair play and prohibited conduct
Do not cheat, falsify game requests, manipulate server state, abuse duplication or economy defects, use unauthorized bots or scripts, or deliberately disrupt progression or service operation. Do not steal credentials, access another account, probe private data, defeat authorization, distribute malware, overwhelm infrastructure, scrape at a harmful scale, or evade an account restriction. Accessibility tools and ordinary browser features are allowed when they do not automate unfair play, bypass security or harm the service.
In account names, support messages and any community features, do not threaten, harass, stalk, exploit children, publish private information, impersonate others, promote unlawful hatred or submit unlawful or infringing content. Do not use the service for scams, spam, unauthorized advertising or real-world criminal activity. Depictions of historical conflict do not justify abuse of present-day people or religious groups. Report suspected vulnerabilities privately without exploiting them or exposing other users’ data.
7. Player submissions, reports and feedback
Only submit material you are entitled to share. You retain rights in your original feedback, bug reports and other submissions. To the extent needed to handle your submission and operate or improve the service, you permit us to store, reproduce and use it for those purposes. This permission does not transfer ownership of unrelated work or permit unrestricted use of your personal information; the Privacy Policy and applicable law still apply.
Please remove passwords, access tokens and other people’s personal information from screenshots or logs before sending them. Feedback is voluntary and does not by itself create a right to payment, a development role, attribution or implementation of a suggestion. Contact us separately before providing material subject to special licensing or confidentiality conditions.
8. Fiction, Scripture and historical interpretation
World of Apostles is a creative work inspired by the biblical world. Places, daily life, conversations and gameplay include artistic interpretation. Scriptural quotations and other incorporated materials remain subject to their applicable source terms. The game is not a complete historical reconstruction, a scholarly authority, a substitute for Scripture or professional religious, medical, legal or other advice.
Playing a biblical game does not require you to hold a particular belief. Story choices, fictional crimes, in-game standing and other character statistics describe gameplay; they are not judgments about your real character, faith, legal status or morality. You may report concerns about factual errors, attribution or cultural representation through the operator contact above.
9. Virtual items, currency and saved progress
Characters, levels, skills, inventory, in-game coins, homes, equipment, achievements and quest progress are service features. They have no cash value, are not deposits, financial products or property titles, and cannot be redeemed for money through us. You may not trade them for real money or promise rights over them to third parties. Random gameplay outcomes do not create a right to a particular result.
Progress is saved to the account, but interruptions, defects, security incidents and updates can affect saved state. We may correct exploited gains or corrupted data and adjust game balance for legitimate operational reasons. We take reasonable care in operating the service; this paragraph does not excuse failures for which the law makes us responsible or remove any mandatory remedy. Keep credentials safe and report unexpected losses promptly.
10. Free access, donations and future payments
The current game is free to play. A voluntary contribution does not purchase access, virtual items, influence, ownership, a financial return or a promise that a feature or project will be completed. Do not assume that a contribution is tax-deductible. At the date of this version, the donation form does not implement payment checkout and cannot collect a payment; a displayed donation option is not confirmation that payments are active.
If donations or paid services are introduced, the operator must first provide the actual payment provider, amount, currency, recurring-payment terms where relevant, cancellation method and applicable refund or withdrawal information before authorization. We will not treat accepting these terms as authorization to charge you. Payment errors and refund requests must be considered under applicable law; nothing here makes all payments automatically non-refundable or waives mandatory consumer rights.
11. Service operation, updates and compatibility
The game requires a compatible browser, graphics support, an internet connection and a device capable of running it. Your internet and device costs are your responsibility. Features may be incomplete or change during development. We may maintain, patch, rebalance or retire features for security, compatibility, legal or other valid operational reasons. We do not promise a particular release date, permanent feature or uninterrupted availability.
Where the law requires notice, a valid reason, continued access, a right to terminate or another remedy for a change to a digital service, we will respect those requirements. We will give reasonable advance notice of a planned material reduction or closure where practicable; urgent security or legal action may require immediate changes. Descriptions of development uncertainty do not override specific promises or statutory obligations.
12. Health, comfort and responsible play
Three-dimensional motion, flashing effects, sound and prolonged screen use can cause discomfort, motion sickness or symptoms in susceptible people. Use available accessibility and audio settings, take breaks and stop if you feel unwell. Seek appropriate medical advice about symptoms or a known condition. Do not play while driving, operating equipment or doing anything that requires your attention for safety.
Play voluntarily and within healthy limits. In-game schedules, quests and rewards are not obligations to remain online. A content warning or your age declaration is not a waiver of our legal duty of care or responsibility for harm that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. External services and community channels
Links to social networks, community channels and other third-party sites take you to services governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control their availability or every statement made there. External communities may have additional moderation and minimum-age rules. Do not provide passwords or payment details to someone claiming to represent us through an unofficial channel.
The current Google and Facebook sign-in buttons are not connected and cannot create an account through those providers. If we introduce social login or another integration, we will explain the data flow and any necessary authorization before you use it. Optional analytics remains separate from account acceptance.
14. Restrictions, suspension and review
We may proportionately limit or suspend access where we reasonably identify an age-policy breach, serious or repeated misconduct, a compromised account, a security threat or a legal requirement. We may correct the effects of cheating. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason, scope and available next steps and allow you to respond. We may withhold details that would expose private information, undermine security or violate law.
For urgent threats we may act before giving notice. We will consider the seriousness, evidence and context rather than treating every error as grounds for permanent removal. Contact the operator to request review of a mistake. Suspension does not cancel your privacy rights, lawful remedies or the right to raise a complaint. We will not use these terms to impose penalties that applicable consumer law prohibits.
15. Leaving the service and account closure
You may stop playing at any time. Contact the operator using the details above to request account closure or erasure; there is currently no self-service account-deletion button. We may need proportionate evidence that you control the account. Deleting a character in the game removes that character’s progress and does not close the user account, withdraw all consents or erase records held for separate lawful reasons.
After closure, access and saved progress may no longer be recoverable. We retain or delete personal information as explained in the Privacy Policy and required by law. Clauses that by their nature remain relevant, including intellectual-property rights, existing disputes and non-excludable legal obligations, continue to apply to the extent lawful.
16. Responsibility and mandatory protections
We must meet the duties applicable to us under law. To the extent lawful, we do not give additional guarantees that the service will work on every device, be completely free from defects or remain continuously available. We are responsible for losses where applicable law makes us responsible. For ordinary personal use, responsibility is assessed by the applicable rules on causation, foreseeability and reasonable mitigation; we do not impose an arbitrary zero-liability rule because access is free.
Nothing excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, intentional wrongdoing, gross negligence where it cannot be excluded, data-protection violations or any other non-excludable liability. Nothing removes mandatory digital-service, consumer, privacy or withdrawal rights. No clause requires you to give up a lawful remedy, accept compulsory private arbitration, waive collective remedies where protected, or indemnify us without limit.
17. Complaints, applicable law and disputes
Send questions, safety concerns, intellectual-property complaints and disputes to the operator contact above. Explain the issue, relevant account or content and the outcome you request; do not send your password. We will consider complaints in good faith. An informal complaint does not prevent you from contacting a regulator or court or taking action within a legal time limit.
Applicable law and competent courts are determined under the rules that apply to your agreement and location. These terms do not select an exclusive foreign court or remove mandatory protection available to consumers in their country of residence. Where available under applicable law, you may use competent consumer-dispute or alternative-dispute-resolution bodies. We do not promise participation in a particular voluntary scheme unless separately stated.
18. Changes, versions and interpretation
This version takes effect when you accept it. We identify revisions by their published date and version and record the latest accepted terms and acknowledged privacy version for your account. Existing players must review the current version and make the age declaration before continuing when their stored acceptance is missing or out of date. A shared demo session requires its own declaration; another visitor’s declaration does not establish your age.
For future material changes we will provide appropriate advance notice and obtain renewed agreement where required. We will not apply a change retrospectively to remove accrued rights or treat silence as consent where affirmative consent is needed. If a clause is unenforceable, the remaining clauses continue only to the extent lawful. Delayed enforcement does not by itself waive rights. Translations are provided for accessibility; no language rule overrides mandatory consumer protections or the interpretation required by law.
